I sit on the ledge with a cigarette in hand

Wishing I was buried on my favorite piece of land

Cold sweat, deep breaths, I was ready to faint

Bid farewell to the demons keeping me in restraint

"Don't jump!" chanted the crowd as I gaze below

The hell I've been through on this Earth, nobody will know

Chills all over, I jump from the ledge with a deafening scream

Then I woke up in bed realizing it was all just a dream
